Despite Florida lawyer Jack Thompson's attempt to get a restraining order on Rockstar's upcoming Bully, the game will be in stores early next week.

As I wrote earlier this week, Florida lawyer Jack Thompson tried to get a court order to stop the sale of Rockstar Games' upcoming title Bully.

In an unprecedented move, the judge ordered Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar's parent company) to turn over a copy of the game so he could see it and decide for himself if it was a "public nuisance," as Thompson called it.

The verdict came in yesterday: it is not.

So, hopefully next week, I'll be hunkered down with my PlayStation reliving high school, except this time, I'LL be cramming people into lockers...instead of the other way around.

Full coverage of the trial, see the game blog Destructoid.
